A collaborative performance with Simon Piasecki, devised for ‘Up the Wall’, Chester Performs, 2009.
The work responded to the specifics of site of Chesters Roman Walls. The two artists, dressed in red bomber jackets, positioned a selection of materials - objects, words, actions, to describe a number of interpretations of place. Using Vetruvian texts, a fish, salt, mirrors, voices, footsteps, red, the artists suggested a number of associations and readings as ‘ghosts’ in the garden landscape.
